My approach to goal-setting is to help clients identify: 

Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals.

 I also work with clients to create an action plan and provide accountability to ensure they stay on track to achieve their goals.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. 

I adhere to both of the *International Coach Federation's (ICF) Code of Ethics and  the National Education Association Code of Ethics  which posts strict guidelines for maintaining client & student confidentiality.

*I am not a member of either; however, as an educator, co-trustee of a family estate, and former stock broker, I do adhere to the ethical standards they have listed.  

Despite slight differences between Coaching & Teaching, I see the ethical code as the same.
